INNOVATIVE LEARNING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES – day 1

On Monday, August 26, 2024, the LTT (Learning Teaching Training) activity began in Tecuci, Romania, within the Erasmus+ project QUALIFIED EDUCATION WITH INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS IN SCHOOL (no. 2023-2-BG01-KA210-SCH-000184736).

The main moments of the first day were:

Visiting the school (Spiru Haret National College Tecuci) and also GEEA Science Club;

Presentation of organizations;

Teaching with drama techniques

-Introduction to storytelling;

-Choosing the title and story of the game.

-Theater roles and developmental stages of the child;

-From story to scenario;

-Assignment of theater roles.

INNOVATIVE LEARNING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES – day 2

The workshops continued on day 2:

Collaboration, creativity and multimedia teaching contents

– Websites, web products, mobile applications and electronic products for teaching and learning: an overview

– Collaborative web tools

-A video story

– Create an interactive video lesson

– Create digital, multimedia books

– Web pages and comics

-Practical laboratory: step-by-step process and guidance.

INNOVATIVE LEARNING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES – day 3

The workshops continued:

Gamification – game-based

-Definition of gamification, why gamification?

-Usefulness of game-based training

-Advantages and disadvantages of game-based education

– Many games, activities and content that support learning and communication

-Best approaches and best practices regarding tools and methods used in different countries in game-based education

-Safety and responsibility in game-based education

– Using game-based education in learning with IPAD, Android, and other mobile devices

INNOVATIVE LEARNING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES – day 4

It was the day for project-based learning:

-Understanding what project-based learning really is;

-PBL in secondary schools;

-Motivation in PBL

-Creating a detailed PBL lesson plan;

-Project-based learning and project examples

INNOVATIVE LEARNING METHODS AND TECHNIQUES – day 5

Last day of our Romanian ativity:

– Cultural visit of the city

– Planning follow-up: future projects together

-Training evaluation

A week full of new things, interesting workshops!

Together we learned to be better teachers, better partners, better people!

We learned to be friends!
